Its fall and that means deer hunting season for lots of Maryland residents. With early muzzleloader season almost here and firearms season coming up the end of November into December, its time for hunters to make sure their guns are in proper condition and are sighted in and ready to go. Its also a great time to purchase a new firearm. HNP specializes in all types of firearms and accessories, and owners Chip Porter and Gary Owings claim their prices are the lowest and they stand behind everything they sell, whether new or used. They carry a large selection of muzzleloaders, scopes and ammunition. We set the prices, says Chip. Everyone else cuts their prices to meet ours. We dont cutthroat other dealers. A fourth generation gunsmith, Chip has been involved in design and development of arms for military and law enforcement. Gary is one of the top trap shooters in the United States. Between Gary and myself, says Chip, the knowledge we have is second to none. One of the oldest firearms dealers in the area, HNP caters to the sportsman and the hunter. Through October, all muzzleloader firearms are 10 percent off. HNP is located at 601 E. Back River Neck Rd. in Essex.
