Looking for a healthy alternative to the usual fast food fare of
burgers and fries? Try the brand new sandwich shop, The Grand Sandwich,
now open in White Marsh. Specializing in gourmet specialty, panini
grilled and all-American sandwiches, wraps and subs, The Grand Sandwich
is owned and operated by Bob LaPierre and his son Rick LaPierre. The
father and son team decided to open the eatery in order to offer customers
a better, healthier choice of great sandwiches, soups and salads.
Bob left his position as Director of Finance and Operations for The
Catholic High School of Baltimore in order to pursue his dream of
making a better sandwich. In addition to tasty sandwiches, The Grand
Sandwich also offers great desserts and snacks, as well as fountain
drinks, iced tea and bottled beverages. Come out to the Grand Opening
on Friday, July 9 to taste the difference for yourself. WRBS Radio
will be at there from 6:30 - 8:30 a.m. Event will feature free coffee,
sandwiches, cookies, other surprises and a drawing. The Grand Sandwich
is located at 11450 Pulaski Highway at Allender Road in White Marsh.
Serving breakfast and lunch, operating hours are Monday - Friday from
7 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. For more information,
